P1 Research

I also looked at other random kinds of games that have different mechanics to what I am used to seeing.

Famous Grand Theft Auto! With mechanics aimed to represent real life. The mechanic of being followed by the police is really nice. Not to mention piloting helicopters and driving tanks.

This is a really cool brazilian card game called Heroes and Vampires that I remembered that I used to play a long time ago. You have your own deck of cards and each one does something. It has a hitpoints system as well as many other mechanics.

Had to remember the old snake game. With the mechanics of growing more with special tokens found along the level. As well as the normal growing mechanic when eating the normal token.

I also remembered of pin pall. Crazy game with weird mechanics, but in the end they all kind of lead to the same thing which is adding points to your score. However, the mechanics created for combos also created around the idea of earning bigger score points are pretty cool.

Ninja turtles! A nice game with cool environment mechanics as well as other ones built around defeating bosses.

I looked at tony hawk (skating game) because it also has heaps of mechanics built around earning score points. Different control keys leading to different tricks.

Poker online! Unexpectedly (for me), it also has heaps of mechanics based around the betting system and the way the money flows.

Digimon is a game that has some really stupid mechanics of your digimon evolving to another random digimon depending on its status, but other things are pretty cool such as the battling mechanics

Also looked into mechanics from football games since it has so many. Dribbling, kicking, curved balls, kick strength, faults, etc.
