Crash Bandicoot has own racing game which is really cool. Mechanics of collecting boxes with a special item that allows you to waste the opponent.
But what I LOVE from Crash are the levels that allow you to mount little animals throughout the game that makes you have to play under pressure as it gives you much more speed and you cannot stop.
Looked at resident evil and some of its mechanics, not my type of game but has some nice double-player mechanics as well as ammo storage, etc.
Halo's another shooting game with awesome environment feature/mechanics as well as being able to play online and build you rank.
